Delhi Government has decided to cancel all university and college exams in Delhi Government-Run Universities and colleges.
The message sent out from Education Minister Mr Sisodia’s twitter account said that “In light of the major disruptions caused by the Coronavirus pandemic, Delhi govt has decided to cancel all Delhi state university exams including final exams.”. The decision has been taken keeping the best interest and health of the students in mind. He further added.
Students to be Promoted Based on Past Performance
Mr Sisodia said that all the students will be promoted to next semesters and the final year students can be awarded their degree basis their past performance.
Confusion over UGC Guidelines about Compulsory Exams for Final Year Students?
UGC guidelines were released this week for holding of College and University Exams, the commission recommended compulsory exams for final year students, in spite of the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
