CBSE Class 12th Board Examination English paper pattern changed
CBSE has changed the exam pattern of class 12 English Board examination 2019.
The number of questions has been reduced in the question paper.
Now the section A would contain only 19 questions and section B would contain 35 questions.
The Board has also released the revised marking scheme

The marking scheme in section A (reading) and section B (Advanced Writing Skills) would be out of 30 marks each. Section C (Literature: text books and long reading text) would be of 40 marks

The number of passages has also been reduced from 3 to 2.
The typology of questions has also been revised for all the passages. In Passage one, now students need to answer 5 MCQs, 9 very short answer type questions including 3 questions on vocabulary and 3 short answer type questions.
In second passage, there would be 2 Long answer type questions.
