The HRD Ministry and Home Ministry have issued the 31 point new exam guidelines or Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for higher educational institutions examination across India.

A seating plan for students in an examination hall in view of Covid 19 pandemic situation is also released.

The SOP includes compulsory masks, gloves and extensive sanitization mechanism of exam halls etc.

The notice stated “The performance in examinations brings in scholarships and awards and translates into better job placement. This would not only give them more confidence and satisfaction but also ensure merit and lifelong credibility”. It also asks institutions to device a plan to conduct exams in “online/offline or blended mode.
