The Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD) announced that the final year exams in universities must be conducted by September end this year.

The government had asked the UGC to reassess its Guidelines on Examination Calendar for the Universities in the wake of COVID19 pandemic.

The guidelines were based on the suggestions of an expert committee headed by Haryana Central University vice-chancellor RC Kuhad.

The universities will be allowed to conduct exams in the mode most feasible to them i.e. in online, offline or blended mode.

This measure is only one time and applicable to just the current academic session.
